1. Members of the Lost and Found Church community took time to go ice skating together on Sunday, February 26th, after the morning gathering, a community meal, and the February Church Monthly Planning meeting (it was a busy day!).
2. Members of the Ferris State University and Saginaw Valley State University chapters of Standing in the Gap gathered together at Camp Lael, in Lapeer, MI on Feb 17-19, for the Winter/Spring Gap Retreat. Students spent time in worship, prayer, Bible study, free time, and fellowship. Six young adults from Ferris State attended the combined retreat. This is the 18th year Standing in the Gap has held retreats.
3. Six young adults from Standing in the Gap at Ferris State attended the recent Standing in the Gap Foundation Annual Meeting in downtown Lansing, MI. The meeting consisted of a community lunch, musical worship, a message on “being a disciple in your everyday life,” electing new Board members, and discussion on how to improve Standing in the Gap as a whole. Jordan Brinker, one of the Ferris Gap students, shared her story of how she got connected with Gap and how it has impacted her life.
